(Pre-trip) Install your ShopBack eSIM on iOS Devices

Install your eSIM

Do this once before your trip. Installing your eSIM will not use data yet.

Install from the app

1. Go to Account > eSIM
2. Select the eSIM you want to install
3. Tap Install
4. Follow the on-screen steps

Tip: Keep the app open and stay connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. Installation may take a few minutes.

Important: If prompted to select your plan type, choose “Data Only.”

Install using QR code

Scan the QR code provided and follow the prompts to install manually. Once installed, you’re ready for the next step when you arrive.

Install your eSIM manually

1. Go to Account > eSIM
2. Select the eSIM you want to install
3. Under eSIM details, copy the following:
   • SM-DP+ address
   • Activation code

iPhone manual installation

1. Open Settings > Mobile Service
2. Tap Add eSIM
3. Tap Use QR Code
4. Select Enter Details Manually
5. Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code
6. Tap Next and wait for installation to complete

When prompted:

• Choose Primary for calls and messages
• Choose the new eSIM for mobile data
• Turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching

Having trouble?

• Make sure you’re not using your original SIM data
• Try turning Airplane mode on and off
• If needed, contact support from the app for help
